Job Description

1. Overseeing the design and engineering of mechanical and electrical systems in construction projects. This involves collaborating with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure that the systems meet the project requirements and comply with relevant codes and standards.
2. Work closely with the project team to develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation, specifically for mechanical and electrical systems.
3. Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other trades to ensure smooth execution and integration of M&E systems within the overall construction process.
4. Evaluating suppliers, obtaining quotations, managing procurement contracts, and ensuring timely delivery of materials to meet project schedules.
5. Procuring the necessary mechanical and electrical equipment, materials, and components for the construction project.
6. Oversees the installation and commissioning of mechanical and electrical systems.
7. Responsible for quality control and compliance with regulations, codes, and standards related to mechanical and electrical systems.
8. Identifies potential risks and challenges related to mechanical and electrical systems during construction and develops mitigation strategies.
9. Maintains accurate documentation related to mechanical and electrical systems, including drawings, specifications, test reports, and compliance certificates.
